The mission of Prospect High School’s Student Services Department is aligned with the District mission to help all students learn the skills, acquire the knowledge, and develop the behaviors necessary for them to reach their full potential as citizens who can meet the challenges of a changing society. The Student Services Staff work as collaborative partners with parents, teachers, administrators, and the community to promote positive self development, academic achievement, social responsibility, and life-long learning.

Student Services include:

- School Counselor: Provides core curriculum services and interventions which focus on meeting the academic, social/emotional, and college/career needs of all students.
- School Psychologist: Provides social emotional support for all students. Additionally, provide support services for students with specific needs and provide referrals for outside services.
- School Social Worker: Provides social emotional support for all students. Additionally, provide support services for students with specific needs and referrals for outside services.
- Speech and Language Therapist: Identifies and assists students who need help with communication skills.
- Nurse: Provides health services within legal guidelines.
- SupportingU: To engage with every freshman student through study hall time as a student services team to promote inclusion, belonging, and empowerment.
- Registrar: Provides official transcripts, information verification including Drivers Education forms, and updates student records.
Seeing a Member of Student Services

Students can easily make an appointment to see a Student Services Team Member. Appointments should be made during a free or lunch period. Students should email a member of their team or stop by the Student Services Office.
